* THE CONTEMPORARY WHEEL WILL HARNESS THE POWER OF THE SURVIVING MILL POND AND WATERFALL TO DELIVER HYRO-ELECTRICITY TO THE REMAINDER OF THE SMALL HOLDING - COMPRISING THE ORIGINAL MILL HOUSE, HISTORIC OUTBUILDINGS, MILL RACE STREAMS AND SUROUNDING FIELDS AND PASTURES.

* FOLLOWING A YEAR LONG NEGOTIATION WITH THE PLANNING AUTHORITY, PROPOSALS TO RE-CREATE THE ORIGINAL MILL BUILDING, BASED ON EXTENSIVE RESEARCH OF THE GENRE, WERE NOT SUPPORTED. 

* THE WHEEL WILL BE ATTACHED TO A NEW OUTBUILDING SERVING THE NEEDS OF THE WORKING SMALLHOLDING AND THE RESIDENTIAL MILL HOUSE.

* BEING LOCATED IN A CONSERVATION AREA IN THE COUNTRYSIDE THE ECOLOGICAL BENEFITS TO THE WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND THE IMMEDIATE ENVIRONMENT ARE REQUIRED TO BE SIGNIFICANT.
